About Sidewalks
Summer Design Fundamentals, Charlee Brodsky
This is a photo project we were assigned to explore the city of Pittsburgh, looking for stories and places of interest, documenting them in a meaningful way.
I focused on sidewalks as a motif in the city and places I am familiar with, and accompanied them with excerpts from Jane Jacob's The Death and Life of Great American Cities to enrich her texts, asserting that sidewalks are the livelihood of successful neighborhoods.
